HELPS Water Filters for Haiti

Donate Now!

In Haiti, there are estimates that three million people have been affected after the powerful earthquake that crushed thousands of structures and resulted in major water service disruptions.

National water deliveries are severely limited. Families in Haiti desperately need water filter systems. It's a basic first step to help quake victims get back on their feet and it can have long lasting impact even after the current crisis has passed.

HELPS International is partnering with United Way Guatemala in assisting the affected people of Haiti with its Gravity Water Filtration Systems.

The Gravity Water Filtration System provides 10 gallons of safe drinking water in 24 hours. It is simple to use and the initial setup time is about 15 minutes. It ensures 100% removal of parasites such as guinea worm and giardia, and 99.99% removal of pathogenic bacteria such as: cholera, Ecoli, and shigella. The filtered water measures up to US standards of purification. The water filters will help beyond the current crisis, rather than a onetime fix like water bottles.

HELPS International needs your help as we respond to this tremendous crisis! HELPS is partnering with US Development Agencies and Guatemalan and US Military to transport and deliver these Water Filters to Haiti.

Every dollar counts in this race to save lives in Haiti. Please donate to help provide these much needed water filters.
